adaptTo(), held annually in Berlin since 2011, brings together the community built around Apache Sling, Apache Jackrabbit, and Apache Felix technology, making it the largest Adobe Experience Manager developer conference.
This year, our very own Marta Cukierman - WebSight CEO and co-founder, and DXP Architect Maciej Laskowski joined the lineup of adaptTo() speakers to showcase how WebSight's DXP event-driven architecture can be used to create a more agile and responsive digital experience platform.
Marta and Maciej presented "Integrate, Grow, Repeat: How WebSight Real-Time DXP Breaks Free From the Content-Centric Model" on the main stage.
Their presentation offered details of WebSight's DXP event-driven architecture and demonstrated how CMS can be used as a data source for a composable platform that processes events in real time.
During the demo, Marta and Maciej focused showing on how event-driven architectures can help with:
digital presence consistency
problems generated by external data sources availability
scalability and performance
in the DXP business scenarios.
The presentation was followed by a Q&A session. The audience members were particularly interested in how the system handles data synchronization, templating and deployment across different environments.
You can read all questions (and answers) submitted through the conference app here.
The questions continued the next day at the playground session, hosted by Maciej Laskowski along with our CTO and DXP Architect, Michał Cukierman, and Paweł Boguski, the Lead CMS Developer.
At the session, conference participants could take a closer look at specific aspects of WebSight - both the platform's native CMS and the real-time DXP.
We are incredibly proud to be part of adaptTo() 2023 as contributors and to have had the opportunity to share our work with the industry's top experts. See you next time, Berlin!
